Homestead Village was “Swingin’ For A Cause” at its 1940’s theme Spring Gala. The entertainment-filled evening was a gala like no other. There was something to enjoy on all three floors of the historic Booking House in Manheim; with performances on the main floor by The Lebanon Big Swing Band & Victrola Dancers. Appearing in the nightclub were Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin, and Douglas Macarthur was mingling with the troops in the VIP Officers lounge on the third floor. Period dress was encouraged, and over $45,000 in sponsorship dollars were raised to benefit the Homestead Village Endowment Fund.
