The beginning of 2016 brings with it many changes for Homestead Village, including many new faces and a variety of new places!

New Faces:
Christina Gallagher joined us in December as our new Director of Marketing, filling the shoes of the retiring Susan Doyle who served in the role for sixteen years and served Homestead Village for nearly 25 years. After retirement, Susan will return as a part-time sales associate in our marketing Department. Christina earned her degree in marketing from Messiah College and has worked in retirement living marketing for the past 8 years. Christina is very involved in a variety of community organizations. Rodney Fenstermacher joins Homestead Village as Project Manager for The Farmstead development and will work closely with the marketing department. Rodney has worked in retirement living for nearly twenty years and served a large organization as their Director of Construction Services for nearly a decade. Lisa Zimmerman joined us in the fall as our residential social worker. Lisa has a Bachelors in Social Work from Millersville University and has worked in senior living for many years. Kathy Noll, LPN has been promoted to the role of Home Care Service Manager, a critical role in our Home Care Agency.

New Places:
The Farmstead is our new and exciting neighborhood featuring 98 homes on 30 acres. Four beautiful duplex models provide a wonderful living environment just west of The Mews on Noll Drive. Young House is under construction and scheduled to open in Spring 2016. Young House will be a small house for 15 persons and feature memory support skilled nursing. Four new private rooms will open in Radcliffe House at the same time. The Apostles Center therapy center is doubling in size and a port cochere will be added to the dining/nursing entrance in Westvue Court.

We also have some familiar faces working in new places. Joanie Greiner is now our full time receptionist. Joanie has worked at Homestead Village for over twenty years. Loretta Gehman has moved to a full time marketing support position.

2016 will be an exciting year of change at Homestead Village as we begin to utilize these exciting new spaces and we learn to work with and enjoy the unique talents that our new teammates have to offer.
