Homestead Village Posts Several Upcoming Public Events
LANCASTER, Pa. (August 16, 2019) – Homestead Village, an exceptional Life Plan Community in the heart of Lancaster County, has announced two big upcoming events in September and October that local community members are invited to take part in.
- The annual Swinging for a Cause Golf Classic will be held on Friday, September 27 at Foxchase Golf Club in Stevens. Benefitting Homestead Village residents who have outlived their personal resources, this tournament is a scramble format and open to men, women, and mixed foursomes. Registration is open online now.
- Self-guided tours of homes in each of Homestead Village’s neighborhoods—The Farmstead, The Mews, Villa Court, Cottages, and Apartments—will be the highlight of the Life Plan Community’s participation in Explore Retirement Living’s 9th Annual Open House on Saturday, October 19 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Though not required, pre-registration is now available online, or simply stop in at The Bachman Center on the day of the event.
“We host many highly anticipated community events throughout the year,” said Homestead Village Director of Marketing, Christina Gallagher. “But our Golf Classic and the Explore Retirement Living Open House are two of the biggest draws for our friends and neighbors in Lancaster County. Come join us!”
